Q. Fabius Maximus, 127 BC. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.88 g, 6 h), Rome. ROMA - Q•MA Head of Roma to right, wearing crested and winged helmet, below chin, star (mark of value). Rev. Cornucopiae over thunderbolt; all within wreath. Babelon (Fabia) 5. Crawford 265/1. RBW 1073. Sydenham 478. Nicely toned. Some light scratches and the obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
